Two valid routes
You can sign at the Egyptian consulate in your country, or before a local notary. Legalization requirements depend on the country of issue and the document type: documents intended for use in Egypt generally require authentication by the competent authorities in the country of issue and legalization by the Egyptian embassy or consulate, followed by any required authentication or translation procedures in Egypt. The consulate route is usually faster to use in Cairo.
Wording decides acceptance
Egyptian counters reject vague powers. The document should name the exact acts authorized — sale, registration, litigation, company formation, banking — and nothing beyond what you intend.
